Government systems owned and operated by the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island (P.E.I) have fallen victim to “six major cyber attacks over the past two years“, according to an article published on Canada’s CBC News website. A recent report released by the managed security services provider Solutionary shows that “failures in patch management of vulnerable systems have been a key enabler of cybercrime“, according to an article published by Network World. The United States Department of Defense (DOD) has announced the launch of MilCloud, “a new cloud computing service” which promises to provide military users with “on-demand infrastructure and network management tools through web-based interface“, according to a recent article published by Information Week.
