The anti-Israeli hacker group known as "_Anonymous Operation Israel_" has posted a video calling on its fellow hackers to launch "_cyber-terrorism_" attacks against the country today, according to an article published on The Jerusalem Post website. The article indicates that the group called on "_cyber warriors from across the planet_" to use multiple methods to unleash havoc on the country. As the article notes, this is not the first time this group has thrown a punch at the nation and left evidence of damage.
The group's statement in the YouTube video was quoted in the article to say, "_On April 7, 2014, we call upon our brothers and sisters to hack, deface, hijack, database leak, admin takeover, and DNS terminate the Israeli Cyberspace by any means necessary._" The article confirmed that at this time last year, Anonymous Operation Israel attempted a similar attack with "_limited success_" by disrupting "_Israeli websites, including that of Yad Vashem, the Prime Minister's Office, and the Israel Defense Forces website._" At the time, the Finance Ministry reported, "_As of midday, Israeli government websites are accessible to the public, as they were for the entire weekend_, "according to the article.
