You can change your due date at any time through the Hostwinds Client Area.
Such changes will, however, require that a one time prorated invoice be generated to cover the time between the old and new due date.
To make a change to a due date, please follow the steps found below:
First, from the Client Area, click on the “Billing” tab and then select “Manage Billing Dates”
On the next page, select the Actions drop-down menu next to the service that needs a new due date and selects “Change Next Due Date”
A new window will open showing the current date, by using the calendar in that window, the desired new due date can be set.
At that point, the amount due to change the due date will be displayed and to proceed from there, the “Confirm” button will need to be clicked.
Once this is done a prorated invoice for the days between the old and new due date will automatically be generated and would be due the same day.
What services can’t have their due date changed?
Domains – can only be purchased in yearly increments and would not be able to be renewed for less time or earlier than when they are invoiced.
SSL – Technically they do not have due dates, as they do not automatically renew when purchased through us.
