This article has been updated with a new version. See this page:

To transfer a domain name to us, the first step would be to go  and then from the “Services” drop-down, select the “Domains” option

On the next page, the hyperlink that reads “Transfer a Domain Name instead” will need to be clicked to switch over to the option to transfer

Before clicking the hyperlink

After clicking the hyperlink

From there, type in the domain name that needs to be transferred and click the “Check” button, the next page’s results will show if the domain can be transferred or not and indicate at what cost, similar to as pictured below:

When proceeding to the next page, there will be a space to enter in the EPP Code (Sometimes called Authorization code) for the domain transfer, the option to add ID Protection (sometimes called Whoisguard or Domain Privacy), and the ability to update the nameservers to match the server the domain needs to be “pointed” to

Important note:

Unless the EPP code is input, the transfer will not be able to complete when being processed by our domain partner

Proceeding from there will bring up the checkout page which will allow for contact info and a payment method to be added. Once that information is filled out, ensure that the “I have read and agree to the Terms of Service” box is checked and then click the “Complete Order” button as pictured below:

Once completed, our domain partner may take upwards of 6-10 business days to complete the transfer depending on the old registrar or host the domain was held with.
