To make any of the changes outlined here, you must log in to the Client Area.
Domain record management for your cloud services is made easy at Hostwinds using our Cloud DNS Manager in the Cloud Portal. Here you can add your domain to our DNS Manager and manage many of your DNS records without needing to go through your server itself.
Please note that after making any changes to DNS records, it can take up to 24 – 48 hours for those changes to be propagated and reflected over the internet. If you would like to know more about DNS propagation, we have an article on What is DNS Propagation available for review at any time.
Click the Cloud Control dropdown and click the Cloud Portal Link.
After navigating to the Cloud Portal, click the Network dropdown and then click the Domains link.
This will bring you to the Domains page, where you can review any available domains added to your Cloud DNS Manager.
On the domains page, click the + Domain button. A pop-up will appear that will ask you for the domain name that you want to add.
Your domain should now appear in the domains table.
Suppose you wish to remove any domains from the DNS Manager. In that case, you may do so by clicking the Actions dropdown for the domain you want to remove and click the Delete link.
