Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to change which PayPal account is linked to an existing Billing Agreement.
However, if desired an additional Billing Agreement may be opened.
Or if the goal is to only have one Billing Agreement, the original one would need to be canceled.
How do I cancel a Billing Agreement?
This would require canceling the Billing Agreement and the set up of a new one.
You can cancel the Billing Agreement by following these steps:
- First, log into your PayPal account page.
- Then on the top right of the page, click on the gear icon, this will bring you to your account settings
- In the drop-down menu select “Payments,” then the “Manage pre-approved payments” Button
From here you will be brought to a page that lists all pre-approved payments you have set up. You will notice the list does include the name of the merchant, description of the type of payment, and the status of it.
Click on “Hostwinds, ” and you will be brought to the page for the Agreement, near the top you will have the option to cancel. Click this and then confirm the cancellation on the pop-up window.
